Is there any tool to solve a simple equation on Gamesalad, just like solver on Excel?
Hi, there.
I’m trying to solve a simple equation just like x+10=x*3 on Gamesalad. And then, I remember Excel has a tool to solve it called solver. If I can use it on Gamesalad, I’d be happy, cause I don’t have to make a lot of attribute.
Is there any tool to solve a simple equation on Gamesalad, just like solver on Excel?
Anybody help me.

No, there isn't such a feature. I use Spotlight on a daily basis to do both simple and complex calculations but as far as I know, that won't solve equations either. Sounds like you'll need to use Excel or an online solution.
Or just use me... x=5.

x=5. That's what I need!
Thanks.
Wait, seriously? Well, keep 'em coming because I'm stellar at basic algebra.
x+10=x*3
x+10=3x
-x -x
10=2x
÷2 ÷2
5=x

Thank you for figuring my problem
But I just wanna know how I solve it on Gamesalad, of course.
If Gamesalad had solver as Excel, it would be nice.
I'd recommend just using Excel.

Thanks. But I wanna draw a parabola on my game depending on coordinate. That's why.
That's quite a different question. You can't do that directly. Take a look at this free template to get a better idea of how GameSalad can handle that kind of thing:
