Sound doesn't play when you press the pause button

I have a sound that plays when you press the pause button, but when i press the pause button the sound doesn't play, it just pauses the game, all of my other sounds are working. Anyone have any ideas?

@thor Pausing loads another scene, so whatever sounds you have going on in your game when you hit pause will be paused, but if it is a quick sound then probably won't hear it when you unpause game.

possibly put the sound in an actor in the pause scene outside of any rules. So when you pause the game you will hear it.
