How to make button controll another objects movement

I want to know how to make my ship move up when up is pressed on the actor(button).

If you look at the basic table tennis template, you'll see how to move an actor up and down with the keyboard. Then replace the Rules with When touch is pressed, for up and down.

Another good template which you might want to investigate, which sounds similar to what you want possibly, is the Basic Shoot Em Up template.
