collision detection

I maybe saying something wrong here but GS only gives you rectangular and circular collision detection. Couldnt you make a tool like a point to point collision. I explain, ex: in photoshop you use the lasso tool or the polygonal lasso tool, so you can trace the border of an image.
You could do something like that. Or how about a mask?. Using an image as a mask to determine the collision detection.
Im knew to GS and I dont if GS as these features but from what Ive seen from the examples, GS doesnt do these things and it would be nice to have them. Thanks.
