Publishing Error, "Game salad terms have changed"

bluelotusbluelotus Member Posts: 96
I am publishing an iPad app and its a pretty hefty 180mb so the publish time is steep (like 3 hours) But when it finishes I am getting an error that says " could not publish.... game salad terms and conditions have changed, please log into gamesalad.com ...."

I have seen 3 or so posts about this in the forum and no one has offered an explanation or a work around.

Anyone ave any thoughts? With a 3 hour publish time I'll be dead before I figure it out with trial and error.

p.s. I have published 2 apps this size already, so I know it can work.

Did you log into the gs website and visit your account? You might need to accept a new terms. Or it could be server side issues. Use the contact us page at the bottom to send them a message.

You sometimes get that error even with a small file and then normally you say try again and it then works

Just make a basic small file to publish to see if that works - no point waiting 3 hours for you master file until you know what the problem is!

I have been getting both errors consistently. timeout or terms error....

@mulcahy... I cant find anywhere on my account that has terms or new terms. Do you know where that might be?

Starting a frustrated rant now--> This is killing me! I cant make a living if the apps dont publish! I paid money for this software to work and I have not seen any improvements or updates to it at all. Memory issues, file corruptions, disappearing code on a regular basis, now publishing errors! The game salad devs really need to hire a master programming architect to create a structure and some order for this program. There isn't even an overview, i have to go into every actor or scene to change simple things. Arg! Come on guys, at least give us some heads up on what you are working on. Make a newsletter or something. We need a light at the end of this tunnel!!!!

ok, done. Thanks to everyone in the forums for your help. I really appreciate it :)

@JCford... thanks, i tried that. it published fine. But Now what?

I am going to head to a friends house, better internet connection. Maybe mine is just too slow. I don't really know what else to do. Like I said, I have published 2 others this size, no problems.

    Any other thoughts are welcome.
