Technically, we basically competitors here. The best iPhone apps from here are fighting for money from the iTunes store.
But when I saw this video I didn't feel jealousy, I felt a sense of pride. I was happy for Quantum Sheep, as this is a good looking game. GameSalad projects are starting to mature and the power of this community is starting to grow.

Looking mighty fine I must say and will probably trounce the retro style game I was trying to publish this week (Thanks to GS update, I'm delayed) with my measly 5 levels. But I shall wait patiently as you finalize the greatness and look forward to playing.
Will do - if GS update hadn't caused an issue with some graphics - home now so will investigate. BTW it's very hot here in canada and I don't feel like mowing the lawn - sounds like a sheep job

Yeah - your issue with your graphics reminded me you mentioned your game in this thread - it's been in the works a while hasn't it? I remember seeing it ages ago.
It's looking like I'm going to need this weekend at least to finish up a few things on it, so I wouldn't be able to submit till Monday at the earliest... so we're probably looking at July 30th...
Still, it lets me add a whole lot more stuff to it with the extra time. I added a player ship shadow today, which is a great indicator of how close to the ground you are. Makes a huge difference - can't believe I didn't think of it sooner!
Also, it means I can go out for drinks on Friday \o/
Yes QS - 7 months - I just want it done some I can move on to a new iPad game.
Sorry about all the grief from the "thread that won't be mentioned" today. I watched that most of the day and agree 100% on your stance - but lets move on from that and get back to making games.

Thanks mate - glad she likes the baddies - there's three types in total, and the vid only shows two. If I can get something working today, I'll try and post up another vid. Or screenshots at least!

Thanks, sir. I've always liked your games a lot, so this means lots to me! Unfortunately, I haven't tested it on a 3G , but it runs like a dog on a 1G ipod touch And that's before I even put in the powerups - hence only for 3GS upwards...
I'm guessing the reason why it's only for 3GS+ is the amount that's going on in the game?
I'm having similar issues with anything below 3GS for my game, and am starting to think that I may need to limit it too.. Are you expecting any issues with sales because of this?

Absolutely the reason. I've tried to optimise it (and will do more towards the end) but the thing just grinds to a halt after a certain number of levels/if there's too much going on.

I'm not too worried about sales. The question is, do I want to compromise the game to get more sales, or do I want to make the best game I can?
