Weapon throwing Targeting?

I need to know how to make my actor throw an object by tapping anywhere on the screen.
Bear in mind that I want the object to go in the direction and not just stop where i pressed.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Make one big actor that is transparent and covers the screen. Set a rule that on touch you grab the touch X and Y coordinates. Then use those to direct your projectile.
