    Im pretty happy overall.

    I would prefer game center to iAds but thats just my opinion.

    Ive looked at the coding involved for in app purchases ITS INSANE
    So, i know that will be a while.

    I am actually quite stoked about being able to drag and drop behaviors from projects now.
    That is really huge.

    The pro only thing.. I don't think there is a right answer.
    All i know is its expensive as hell but, if a noob like me can make enough from the app store to pay for it anyone can. A lot of sleepless nights will get a dude farther than whining anyday!

    And to all

    FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KEEP THE iADS OUT OF THE EDUCATIONAL APPS
    kids will click anything and its just wrong.

    If i downloaded a learn math or some sort of app for my son and it had iAds i would delete and 1 star that bitch so fast that I don't even have a metaphor yet.

    Since everyone was clamoring for iAds, I would say no. They have implemented it in an EXTREMELY easy to use manner. I think what they did probably took some time to put in. Kudos to them. But my FAVORITE feature this month is the Resolution Independence. THAT is pure genius. I love that feature. It automatically sees which images to display based on what device it's being played on.

    Adding an add is so easy its scary

    You can even trigger the add in a rule
    for example only when the player dies

    Very cool!!

    @James, so is inApp purchasing if you XCode pretty straightforward database app, with about 400 lines. A few hours work.

    So people would get enough revenue from iAds to upgrade to pro

    iAds have to be used only on free or lite versions of games non educational

    I agree, if I pay pay an app I don't expect to see ads - so please keep then in free and lite apps only!

    I think its a great update, exciting, lots of things we've been banging on about all rolled into one... plus some more performance fixes... what's not to like...(oh apart from the pro bit, but that's fair enough, they've got have something to make that worth while).

    Overall very pleased, and want to get cracking on project 'not quite sure what yet!'.

    I'm also pleased with the update, particularly with ability to drag behaviours between game files; this'll save experimenting in my main project; getting tests right then dragging the stuff across into the main project, excellent! Dragging resources onto the desktop is also really welcomed here!

    I can see the logic of making iAds being just for the Pro subscription.

    Like some other people, support for retina display is good but concerned about file sizes for iPhone4.

    All in all, GameSalad is going from strength to strength, I think.

    All I want is a better interface. LESS CLICKS PLEASE!!! Why do I keep having to go back and forth to do everything?
    When I click an actor, I still want to see my other actors in the left column, I don't want to click the back button a thousand times and have to scroll back through the list of actors to find the next one.
    Why not be able to select more than 1 actor in the scene? How about adding an option to paste attributes to multiple actors at once? I could probably go on all day, but you get the point, LESS CLICKS PLEASE!!!

    Most importantly, will this mean our projects will be almost 5x bigger? And will all devices have to download that size? (old resolution + 4x resolution for every graphic).
