iAd only for Pro?? Pro users DON'T NEED iAd.

From the latest update, I am ashamed that iAd is ONLY for PRO users. Hell, I wish I could make money from FREE apps that I planned on making free. Looks like those plans are out..

Hello, if a pro user can afford $1999 than obviously they are making money from paid apps. So why not let express users have iAd? Let me guess, GS wants our money; simple as that. iAd should be a feature available to ALL users, express or pro. Now I have a feeling that multitasking will go the way of iAd, pro only. If this doesn't change, then next year I may not renew my express membership. :(

I know. It isn't worth $1999 just to be able to get a custom loading page and iAds... I was hoping to get to use iAds when it was supported, but I guess not. :(

I agree totally, all we can do is pray they will be smarter and add support for express. The way I see it they're losing money. Now I am making most of my apps with the FREE BETTER one; Xcode. Gamesalad you really let us down this time.

Well Xcode isn't totally free. You still need to spend $100 to get the games into the App Store...

They even let me down, which is something pretty hard to do. (letting me down)

You need $99 to get into the app store with gamesalad too.
So that $99 for publishing to the app store and $99 just for building games for the iPhone with gamesalad. Anyone can download Xcode for FREE.

Yes, Xcode is free but time is money... it takes a LOT of time to learn Objective C and Xcode itself. YEARS before you'll be able to make decent games.

I really wish people would stop saying things like "I might as well use Xcode". GO AHEAD IF IT'S THAT EASY!

Actually, if you know any programing language already, in particular any C, then it can be learned in two months of solid work - I've seen it done.

The real downside is how much slower it is; but at the end of the day I hope to learn it for non-game apps I'd like to create :)
