Acceleration Limit

Is there any way to put a limit on an object's acceleration? (For example, stop speeding up when you reach the set maximum x)

As it stands now, my object keeps speeding up to infinity, effectively breaking the game.

In your actor's attributes, under "motion" you have a "max speed" that you can set to a limit.

That doesn't seem to solve the problem. I have maximum speed set to 100 and my object still can accelerate past that.
