@Photics, if new suits change things for the worse, they'll have an empty room to talk to.
Things are sorta iffy, remember the iAds fiasco? It wasn't that long ago, the natives were restless... If that had happened before the investors dealt, it might've been a different story...
Then again, maybe a more business minded management would realize that 10,000 "Express" Accounts would be better at $200 than 15 "pro" -- an extra million bucks instead of a measly 30G's -- and everyone happy with plenty more room in the pool... No more class wars at GS!
I thought it was interesting that they mentioned that 800 titles have been created so far. I would have thought that figure would have been much higher.
So if the average developer account is putting out 2.5 apps per year and GS has been around for 1 year (give or take)...then that is about 300-350 devs using GS...which means maybe 30 of them are pro licenses by my guess. That's less than $100K in revenue annually...not enough to sustain a software company...let alone a single programmer. Good thing they have angel$ in the wing$.
congrats GS!!! The money will be used for the development of this software... right?? This has calmed me down a lot and has hopefully given a boost to GS. Hire more developers!
