Blurry text I'm guessing? I don't have 8.8 but display text looks pretty crap on the iPhone 4 as well.

On the device it has never been that bad, but it hasn't been upgraded visually along with the iPhone 4 updates so it is blurry.. meh..

There's a vertical centering issue in the previewer. The texts tends to go lower than the center point. This issue seems to have gotten worse with 0.8.8.

Text has always been an issue for GS. I am currently working on a project that uses a lot of it on an awards screen in an attempt to stay under 20mb (as opposed to using separate images for each award button), and I am not sure I can stomach it!

Yup...similar situation to Scitunes... I was going to use display text on a stats screen, so that i didnt have to set up every digit as a custom font, but the GameSalad fonts look awful, especially when displaying small fonts.

Its definately one of the areas that GameSalad needs to improve. Surely they should just add the ability to use True Type fonts, so we can just add whatever font we want. But yup, it looks like they need to work on the code for displaying the fonts, as they can look really rough and unprofessional.

Currently its draining my will to carry on with my project, having to set every individual digit or letter as a custom font, just so it looks decent.
