Help with key mapping?

Hi guys,

In brief, I am having trouble key mapping as my actors are not responsive to my Amazon game controller. I have been able to create a highlight and screen change system using the same techniques that @jonmulcahy used.

However when I try to control my character the controller does nothing when I press buttons on my Amazon game controller.

In light of this, can someone please explain key mapping to me further. Also can you please provide a screen shot or sample code that would show me exactly how to program my game controller?

For example if I wanted the user to press the x button in order for my actor to jump. How would I key map that specifically?
