I only work graveyard weekends (until my games start making money) so, yeah... I work at least 12 hours a day on my projects. Used to be movies... now it's games.
I usually work 12 hour days at regular job then when I'm off I hit GS at about 6 hours a day for 2 days and I'm like that every other week. I have a family so I can't put all my off time to GS.
im have another job, at home i do the heavy game edition, but at any palce ai do research, note ideias, send e-mail do partners, do some draft, and every time thnk about my milestones
Yeah, let's add a new pole... how many hours a day do you spend THINKING about making games? Put it this way... I haven't slept in weeks! Maybe now that Max Vector is finished I can get IF/AND statements out of my head! Only... I've started thinking about my next project.... GAAAAAH!
Right now I'm probably spending under 4 hours a day, sometimes more lol. I'm still young so I still have to spend time with my family. I saved up $1500 in the past 2 months so I'm going to buy an iMac very soon, and then I'll get into more serious work
I'm working full-time and I have a family so I spend about 1 hour each night on either GameSalad or checking out what's happening in the forums.
Game development for me is slow. I plan things and it could take weeks before I get around to it. Or, I read a question that catches my interest in the forums and spend a few days figuring out the solution.
I'm having a lot of fun, though. GameSalad is a great tool.
Been using it every day and for a few hours just working on some little projects soon to come out and I will soon be getting an imac at which I am gonna get really serious and get some of my many started game ideas done
yeah i start work at 7:30am in the morning finish at 5pm shower then straight onto game making until maybe 1 or 2 in the morning most days, then when the wife's moaning about me on my computer ill be learning lua on my iPad in the sitting room while watching bear grills on the tv so pretty much game making is consuming my life at the moment.

That's only like 5 and a half hours of sleep! Aren't you always tired?

I find it is dangerous for me to go into GS without designing or thinking through methodology stuff first. Very non productive!
Now, I tend to write stuff down and the hit GS for a few hours at a time.
I've been rolling around my next game idea for weeks, but it's so outlandish I'm reluctant to dive into it.
If that were the questions then my answer would have been "Over 4 hours" instead of "Under"... I love that game!
