Show Initial State - not very useful

I'm trying to create the most comprehensive document ever written about GameSalad. That means I have to write about features I don't even use... or don't even like. Using the live edit mode, from within the "Scene Editor", is loaded with stuff like that. But the biggest offender is the "Show Initial State" option.

Apparently, it only works when an actor is deleted. If an actor is deleted, then you can click the transparent area to edit an actor that is no longer on the scene. OK, great, that sounds cool... right?!

Wrong! If you move actors (with in-game controls) clicking on existing actors will do nothing... if it has moved away from the initial state. You have to guess what the initial state was in order to select the moved actor. If you click the starting point, then you can select and edit the actor.

Here are two suggestions to make this feature more user friendly...

Solution #1 - Show the initial state for all actors, not just deleted ones.
Solution #2 - The clickable area should follow an actor in the live edit mode.

The later is probably more user friendly, but I'm thinking that it's harder to do.
