my name is joe. i moved to brooklyn from cincinnati in february to pursue music.

i am in need of a marketing tool to set myself apart from the usual soundcloud/youtube link. and my entire design is based around ab 8-bit(ish) style. to take it a step forward, i would like to have a playable game accompany my debut solo EP.
i have downloaded the gamesalad app, and before i dive in and learn this program, i'd like to know what it takes to collab with a developer to bring my idea to fruition.

i have designed the characters. i just need them plugged into place of a working game.

please email me, and we can discuss things further.

Can you clarify whether this is a paid job or an unpaid collaboration? I'll move this to Help Wanted for now since it sounds like you may not be looking to hire someone.

It's unlikely you'll find a developer to collaborate with pro-bono. The great thing about GameSalad is it lets pretty much anyone develop their ideas. Most people here have more ideas than time to make them!

If you're looking to pay someone to make the game, you'll probably have to pay somewhere between $20-40 an hour, depending on the developer's skill and experience. The most basic games will cost ~$200 to get made, with fuller, more advanced games costing thousands.
