Average wait time for Apple to approve apps?

It's been 7 days exactly today. Just wondering what the average wait time is as I am hoping to release my app next Friday!

It varies a lot from month to month. My longest was over 4 weeks, my shortest was about 4 days. On average I think about 7-10 days.

Usually 7-10 days. But I had one in 5 and one in 14 days. The rest were 9 days.

Thanks. Man that is a long time, but i guess they get so many apps a day lol. Thank god there's no more flappy bird (or equivalent) craze delaying them

They also do not process the queue in a strictly first-come-first serve basis. If you're "known to them" as a good developer - i.e. been featured, or are a bit publisher etc. you get priority treatment. I had a client submit an app once, a full 7 days after one I'd submitted, and their was done within 48 hours while mine was still waiting.

So not only if the queue big, you have lots of people skipping ahead of you in the line.

Add to that - when you DO get assigned a reviewer, if they do something like take your game on on Friday afternoon, they might then go home for the weekend and not even look at it until Monday, whereas someone else might get a reviewer pick their up after yours but their reviewer is in on Saturday.

The whole process is very, very frustrating :D
