Can't open downloaded project file

I downloaded one of my games that I'd like to update to iphone 4 display and add some new stuff.

I changed the file name to .gameproj which I was sure was the correct way to do it.

When i double click the file it closes gamesalad?

any suggestions?

    actually, sorry I got the file open but my images are not showing up. in the images folder they are all there but every one is blank.....

    wtf!

    Basically I lost all master files for the game and this was the only way to get it back but it doesn't make sense that the files are blank?

    Sounds like your are opening an app bundle.....are you downloading one of your compiled projects?

    The file is actually not blank-i guess-because this happened to me once when GS crashes.
    Everything goes blank, but the rule and everything else are still there. What I did was replace every blank image with the original image.
