Hi guys, my first post here, I'm sorry if this has been posted elsewhere or posted in the wrong category.
I'm almost finished working on a game and before I upgrade to Pro I would like to know if I need an Apple developer license and does it cost anything as I'm working on a PC (Windows 8), the developer website suggested that I need a Mac.

If you plan on publishing your games on the Apple App Store you'll need the Apple Developer License which cost $99 per year. That is payable to Apple.
Games published to the Apple App Store MUST be submitted through a Macintosh, this is an Apple requirement. I've heard of several Gamesalad users that create their games on their Windows machine and use Macincloud to publish from. But I have no experience with that myself.
If you have access to a Mac I suggest developing and publishing from that machine.

I wouldn't work with the PC version of GS if you paid me, save yourself a lot of time/hassle/pain/heart ache and buy a 2nd hand Mac.
Thanks for the good information guys, gamesalad should of made it clear at the start that when downloading GS for Windows that you would need a Macintosh, otherwise I wouldn't of spent months on studying GS and creating images
You don't need a Mac unless you want to publish to Apple.
As a Pro member, using Windows, you can still publish to Android, Tizen, and several other platforms (just not Apple).
Edit: Even at that, you can still use a service like Macincloud to be able to publish to Apple (iOS).
