Scrollable layers and non-scrollable... can't collide?

I have encountered an issue with my asteroids moving when they shouldn't. I thought I'd found a fix, making them non-movable but scrolling across the scree... problem is, the detection no longer works between my ship in a non-scrollable layer and the asteroids in the scrollable layer...

Any ideas as to why? Seems very odd. When I put the ship into the asteroids layer, they collide but of course, the ship scrolls, which I don't want it to.

Also, turning off "movable" stops it rotating, which sucks, too!

I read the headline and I thought that I would have to update my book, but no... collisions can occur between scrollable and non-scrollable layers, as long as one of the actors is movable.

I wonder if it's because I have a constrain on my main ship.... it's constrained to the touch area... back to square one!

Did you find a solution to this? I have the same problem. When I have the two actors (One movable and one not movable) in the same Layer the will collide, but when they are in separate layers the will not collide. They just pass over each other depending on the order of the layers.
