Hey everyone, chaosmasterro here, I just want to say hi to everyone and thank you for welcoming me into the community! I just downloaded Gamesalad last night and I want to learn how to build a game. I want to start off making a breakout type game. Any suggestions, guides, or tutorials worth looking at or directing me to?
Thanks!

Welcome! When you have your game up and running, you should head over to OpenGameArt.org. They have a lot of free game art you can use. Some work requires some, but it's simple to make end game credits.

Update: Since using GameSalad I was able to create my first pong (without AI) and breakout game from scratch. I'm very proud of myself and Gamesalad's amazing GUI. I'm now on my way to start practicing how to create tables and trying to grasp a concept on the how Candy Crush and Bejeweled related games work with the matching.
Templates are a great help but I get more mileage when I look at a step by step tutorial understanding how it works.
Thanks!
