"Code signing tool error"

ryastryast Member Posts: 145

I used to click on Publish, then get the app from the GameSalad servers when I click on "Sign app".

But now, after doing the above I am greeted with an alert that says:

Code signing tool error
iPhone publishing requires the iPhone sdk.
Ensure that you at least have the latest iphone sdk installed

What is this and how do I fix it?

Thanks!

Install an older version of Xcode (older version are available through apple dev website) or update your OS. The signing tool is part of the Xcode install you must have Xcode install to sign iOS apps.

Thanks for the link, will give it a try and report back if I still have problems.

Would you recommend any particular version for 10.9.5?

The last version that supported 10.9.5.

    That makes sense :p
But seriously, I have no idea which was the last version taht supported 10.9.5, other than GS and the stuff I do on my laptop I avoid Apple stuff most of the time so I really don't have a clue as to which version is compatible with what...
