How to wrap a background image on a scene??

Hey guys,

Instead of animating an image in the background, I want to "wrap" it so that I only need to use 1 looped image to optimise my game.

I can't wrap the scene as I have things spawning out of the screen.

Please help :)

Anyone? I've attempted the other methods posted and they are all really bad performance wise, with the looped image stuttering and causing a black line.. not good..

JCFord has a nice example on his wall:

    Hi reddotinc,

I have the same problem, trying to loop a background...

How did you sort out the problem?

    Thank you

Create a new layer with an invisible actor and set it to spawn then set ur background layer to wrap u can also leave the actor visible and put ur background layer on top and set the spawn to spawn to the top layer
