Image Changing Not Working

Hi! I have just created all the animation images for my character and I have started to animate/change images depending on what the character is moving. (e.i. Character moves left, image animates to running) The problem is that it is not animating/changing. And I don't know how to fix this. I think a reason this may be happening is that I have over a 100 different rules in my Actor, I don't know.

Please help me!

@OscarsCoding As @Socks can tell you, he tends to change a post to "..." when he decides to delete the content immediately after posting it. I'm sure he can help clarify in this case.

Having 100 different rules could certainly complicate things but you need to start by showing the rule(s) that affect movement and animation directly.

Well, in the movement rules, I have the change image behaviors in those, so in the rule where it makes the character move left, I have the image change. But it's not working.

It's not really enough to describe a rule. For example, the image change could be done with Change Image, Change Attribute, Constrain Attribute, etc. Likewise, the movement rules could have conditions or timers that are affecting the outcome of the behaviors. Can you post a screenshot? Upload it to a file-sharing site and then embed or post the link here.

And . . . . besides all the obvious variations and particular ways of achieving the same goal . . . there could simply be a mistake in the code itself, so even if we find out someone is using Change Attribute, having that told to us is still largely useless when it comes to resolving issues as there - very simply - might be a mistake in the way that Change Attribute behaviour is being used.

So basically yes, agreed, telling people you might be having issue with 'movement rules', is a little like telling a doctor you might be having issues with 'your health'.

One thing to consider is that ... is also used to represent "I haven't even got a response for that it's so stupid". :D
