Have you tried just dragging a Move behavior into an actor's rule list and clicking Preview? Have you reviewed the thread I posted above? It would take a while to go through it all but it's a good starting place.
In short, nothing in gamesalad does anything 'on its own', and if it does, it's never going to stop doing it until you tell it to.
The link provided by Tatiang really is helpful. While GS is worlds easier than a lot of programming software and languages, there is still a learning curve.
If you're better with visual/audio learning than reading, just search YouTube for Gamesalad tutorials. Then download some templates, play them a little, and then take them apart to see how they're put together.

If it's grumpy, give it candy. If it's tired, let it rest first.
