Multiplying an integer attribute, help please

Trying to find a way to multiply an integer attribute, and if possible, multiplying by another interger attributes value. Have done some digging through the forums and am yet to find anything useful. Has anyone dealt with this concept before? Can anyone show me the method involved?

    just use the equation button in a value box and enter = " attr1 * attr2 "?
