So, The only phone I have is Samsung Galaxy S5, I am currently working on the game I am planning to put it on Play store. Since, I am new in game making, I need to make sure anything I do cost $0. When I tried to run it on Gamesalad viewer on my phone, the orientation is truly messed up, for example When I set the project properties to iPhone 6 portrait, it went Landscape on my phone, and not showing fully.
Any help? do I really have to pay first to get android feature? I'm not even making cents yet. I have come to this far, I really have to make it work.

My suggestion is you want to do this for free for now is make the full game. And build a website with a live banner rotator. Build up a Facebook and Twitter account and place donation button. Tell ppl about your game let them play it leave feed back and all that Jazz once you build followers and player on your website and you have raised enough cash pay for pro and all the other costs involved.
You can also use a game demo with an indigo go campaign offer them the game for free tshirts posters original artwork. 3d prints of characters. And hope for the best!
I know you probably thought you would be able to do mobile apps for nothing but it just doesn't work like. Unfortunately you really do have to spend money to make money.
For Android, you set up the screen orientation in Gamesalad. In the scene attributes, under the autorotate section.

It's not like I don't want to invest money on my work. I just want everything to be FREE on the process. Like from the start making scenes, adding sound, adding control, adding Ads, etc.
When I'm ready, I would like to purchase PRO GS for a year, and some licence for Android Play store, or even Apple $99.99 If I'm not mistaken. I'll put FREEMIUM feature (Which I got for being a PRO GS user). For the time being I will improve my game quality, make it even better, while I'm earning money from people's download. When It's good, I can make other game for more profit.
So, When I mean I want FREE making game, is what I mean FREE on the process for my first time.
Thanks for the reply tho, but that's not the answer im looking for.
I'm sorry, It's not like that.
I kinda solved it by changing the scene size. It's still a bit off in my Samsung S5 but I can deal with it. I just want to feel the flow of playing my game on my device.
You know, It's not that fair when it comes to the device option, I can only choose iPhone 6, iPhone 6+, iPhone 5, more iPhone, some Nook, some Kindle....Don't have any android preferences.
Based on this image,
What size I should use on Samsung Galaxy S5, I don't know how to find it... I'm guessing that says "372 pixels x 867 pixels", on my GS settings.
The iPhone5,6,6+,iPad etc. are just a base where you can build your game on. Most of the people here build their games on an iPad setting. And build the game so that it looks good no matter what device it´s played on. Even if the game is targeted for Android devices.
In the GS viewer, you can select either stretch, overscan or letterbox to "fill the screen". I personally prefer overscan, because there is no distortion on graphics.
You should do a forum search on universal builds and study that a little.
