i am developing this type of game with gamesalad... will it perform good. ??

hey guys !!. how are you all.
i am working on a game which will be like 2d , side scrolling beatemup and will also have top down town exploration in few levels. it will also have comic inside to know what actually is happening regarding game. cause this game is based on fantasy and story.
so these are features and mechanics stuff : there will be like 60-70 scenes maybe less but 50 is sure.
30 scenes will be about 50-90k width.
it will be of 20-30 levels game in which there will be small fights , boss fights , missions etc.
this game will have many characters , but only 10-20 animation characters. but will have lots of images due to levels etc.
this game will be for IOS,Android,Mac,Windows8 ...
i want to make this game smooth and beautiful based on dark fantasy. currently i am using 720p resolution .
can someone tell me a best way to reduce the size of images but result shouldn't change. etc etc.. also i will add lots of sound tracks to the game. like background music for each level/scene ,, fight etc .... and i am all this working in Gamesalad. once i reach that point when i will have something to show. then i will start my thread.. thanks for reading. and please leave your feedbacks below ..
my question : as you have read what i want in my game , will it lagg or will it work good. the performance etc????

    720p falls well short (resolution-wise) of more recent iOS devices like the iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone6+ . . . it might be a better idea to start with a Retina iPad project.

    You can't reduce the size of an image without changing the result (the image quality).

    It's impossible to tell how well a game will run before it's been built, it's performance will depend on how well it's put together.

    I agree with socks, build the game in one format and see how it runs, then worry about making your game for every other device. It will give you the opportunity to optimise intensive elements before you go rolling it out.

    Create a universal build project so it works on everything.

    As far as performance, it will really depend on how well you build your project. For the most part, it almost sounds like you will be doing the same thing in most of the levels ... beat'em up. So, if you make your fight code tight, you should be good. I'm seen some pretty complex games in GS and they perform well.

    It's all about optimizing a much as possible.
