Aiming a particle effect

Ok, theoretical situation:

Player is at bottom of screen firing up at enemies at top of screen. The X coordinate is random.
Now, how can I fire a particle effect (along with bullet) from the X coordinate of player to the X coordinate of enemy using directional degrees?

    Attach the particle behaviours to the bullet ?
