Elevator Issue , jumping

Hey guys , im having this issue with my elevator that I cant solve , the player doesnt jump high when the elevator is going up but when its going down he jumps normal , is there a way to solve this ? cause this way I wont be able to make him jump from a platform to another in case its going up since the jump is really limited

I don't think the issue is that the character is not jumping as high, its that the platform is moving up at the same time so it just looks like the character isn't jumping as high. If it's a big problem you could probably make the player jump higher when it is going up on an elevator, so it visually seems the same by increasing the jump strength/height.

@jamie_c I tried doing that but it didnt work , the jump was still the same , but your right the platform is moving at the same speed so visually it looks like hes not jumping as he normally does . But when you play other games you dont find this issue , normally , even games made with gamesalad.
