Hey guys,
I made a game to reveal the gender of my baby to my wife. Do you guys know of any way I can get my game onto a store online for her to download onto her iphone and play? It is a gag game, so I do not want to publish it in the apple store. Essentially, I want to make it a downloadable app for the iphone to surprise her. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thank you so much!

Well actually, that's a decent idea for an app, so if you weren't super specific with names I would think you could get it into the store. Make it something where you can set up in the beginning the names and dates or something, then save those attributes, then be like "Oh I just downloaded this game, check it out..." etc.
If you aren't able to get it in the store, I would just build an adhoc like you would for any other game and do the same thing. You're gonna have to download it on your own phone or ipad or something.

If you don't actually want to publish it to the Apple Store, you'll need to create what's called an AdHoc build and put that on the phone for her to check out. It's just like building an app for distribution but you can only load it on certain devices that you allow.
If you've never published before, today is your lucky day. @Thunder_Child just did some tutorials:

I'll have to try that!!! (LOL) Maybe I can make a few bucks from it! For now, for an adhoc game, is it the way I publish it? The game is almost complete, so I am not sure what to do at this point to make it an adhoc download. Essentially, I bought a template and completely remade it, and now I have a game...Not sure how to turn it into an app. LOL, sorry for the dumb question.
I'll check this out! Thank you so much for the quick response! You guys rock!
My favorite way of testing games is uploading the build to iTunes connect like you would if you were going to put a app on the app store, and instead of submitting it for review, invite yourself as a beta tester, then if you have the test flight app installed on your phone you can download the app like a normal application.

By any chance, do you have team viewer? I would be willing to donate you some money via paypal if you would have the time to help me upload my game into itunes connect. I am having difficulty from the get-go for some reason and its frustrating me. Your feedback is greatly appreciated!!!
BUMP - if anyone has team viewer, I would be willing to have you remote into my laptop and help me upload my game into itunes connect. I have all of the necessary tools, I just cannot figure it out!!! Please help! We find out the gender of our baby next week and would love to get this onto testflight today!
