Would anyone be interested in free Graphic design tutorials?

I'm considering starting a video series of graphic design tutorials for the GS forum. They would be about simple things that would be helpful when creating a game, such as how to make these buttons.

Do you think this would be of interest or useful to anyone?

I think it would be great, but feel that to benefit the most, it would need to be done in software available to all/most. Doing them in Illus or PS would probably cut out a lot of users

@ant_lad True, I'm not sure what to do about that since I always use PS for my graphics. Would you be able to follow along if you were using something like gimp even though the tutorial is in PS?

If you do not use any fancy or PS exclusive effects, then I think everyone should be able to follow along on Gimp, as long as you say the tool you are using

@FallingBoxStudios, I think if you teach how to create art and graphics instead of how to use a specific piece of software it should work out fine. Of course you'll have to create it in some piece of software but if you teach about color relationships, animation concepts, design issues, etc. that are independent of the software choice it would be great.

@FallingBoxStudios Yea, I think Chris over at 2D Game Art for Programmers has a good handle on how to present the information in a way thats not program specific. There are some places where he left off that would be a good starting point for someone taking on tutorials. For me I would be interested in how others choose their colors for shading or highlights. How others come up with their color palettes for a game.
