I got an email from someone claiming to be from GamesSalad (alex.at.gamesalad@gamesalad.mail.intercom.io) and it looks very suspicious. It may be legit but I am posting a screenshot...

Oh yeah can someone delete this thread if it is proven to be legit.
@lycettebros
Yea, it's spam. You can tell by the sender's address. It's "alex.at.gamesalad@gamesalad.mail.intercom.io"
If you can "win something" they'll want to have you enter your address.
Report it as phishing.

I wouldn't panic just yet. We do use Intercom and we have an Alex that might send these sorts of things. I sent him a message about this thread so hopefully he'll poke in here and clear things up in the morning.
It's legit. I'm looking for 100 answers to a developer economics survey. There are prizes, and respondents get to see a snapshot of what other developers have answered. Please do fill out the survey if you get invited! In case you don't know me, I'm the marketing guy; I'm the one that sent the mail. - Alex (at GameSalad).
Its not spam i believe thats his email addy.
Wow it looked sus to me.
@lycettebros it's not spam. I did the survey.

It's legit, I did the survey and all you need to do to complete it is answer a few questions, send in your address, bank details and a couple of passwords (for security reasons) so it's pretty straightforward, what was also great was that Alex then told me that I had a distant cousin in Zambia that I was unaware of, who turns out to have been a prince who recently died in a skiing accident and left me $40m, which came at just the right time as there has been some screw up at the bank and my account has been frozen (something about a massive cash withdrawal ?).
Wow... I got this email also and was going to ignore it but after reading @Socks post clearly that would have been a horrible mistake. Here's to hoping I have a distant cousin who recently died in a freakish accident and left everything to me. :crosses fingers: x x

You are to late! I used my time advance in germany and filled in all details 10 hours ago. And you know what - the prince of zambia already sent me the $40m to my bank account :-)
It's legit and I was given a useful PDF after completing it. Oh yeah I think I did this survey last year as well...

Last year as well? How much of the $40m do you still have left?
Its all gone - I spent it on Apple watches and a rMBP.

I can see you showed frugal restraint, getting a refurb MacBook Pro. You'll go far in life!
Hmmm... An Apple watch for each arm... Not a bad idea...
Hey! You have 12 arms too? Cool!
You've got your priorities straight I see.
