For the last six months I've been in charge of the computer controlled lighting of a large casino. Yesterday was my last day on the project. We averaged 70 hour weeks. Now I'm back in my studio fulltime for the next three to four months. I'll be getting up to speed over the next couple weeks and be helping on the forums and back to making videos.

It was the fastest paced projects I've ever been on and I've been in the electrical business for 30 years on large projects. To say I'm exhausted is an understatement. I had 20 people and two formans working for me. I was in charge of the night shift, 4:00pm to 4:00am. But we made our deadline by literally a few hours. It's going to take me like a week just to get oriented to normal life and regular sleep. Will be ordering a new 4K mac this week and dusting off my neglected studio. Can't wait to get back with you folks talking games and tech. My partner Dane was at E3 this week and I wanted to be there with Him but the project went over so next year for sure.
Thanks all for the welcome back and now I'm off to a concert, seeing Train tonight and drinking lots of beer!

Cool! Welcome back Dave!
Wow that's awesome. I'm overwhelmed panning the electrical diagram for my basement with 40 outlets and 38 lights, I can't imagine the planning hat goes into something like that.

Sounds like a rough project considering the hours and scale of it all. Glad you're back!

Good to have you back! I would have loved to have met Dane at E3, like I did last year, but I took the week off after submitting a game and hung out in Maui..
Looks like we'll both be getting back into the swing of things next week..

@KnightStar Yeah man, that would have been cool!, but to be honest, this year's E3 was mostly like last year's so you did not miss out on anything "new".
