Keyboard Problems

Im running Game salad on a Microsoft surface pro 3 i5 processor, ive been making a game somewhat like space invaders but once I got a fourth enemy to start working and fixed a few kinks my keyboard quit working. I know its not a problem with my keyboard(Because I probably wouldn't be posting this) but rather something that seems to be with game salad.all im able to do is sit still and let the enemys shoot me up. Please help me fix! Thx P.S I have windows 8.1 os

    There's no way we can know how to fix this without knowing how you set your rules up. Can you post a screenshot of your rules? Are you doing something like If key a is down then spawn actor?
