Removing an image from actor?

Ok this should be simple but I can't figure out how to do it. I have an actor that I want to remove the image from.. any thoughts on how to do this? I removed the image file from my project and now the actor is showing "Image Missing"

    I've wondered the same thing but have not been able to figure it out either! Anyone?

    you can remove the filename from the actors xml file, this works in a simple test case but heaven knows what it might do to a complex scene

    No way I know of other than replacing it with a blank png

    This would be a good feature request for a future version. A simple "-" or "x" sign next to the image name would prompts a dialogue that says "are you sure you want to remove this image from the actor?"
