In general when the native preview causes Creator to exit without a crash dialog it means there's something wrong with your project that is causing the engine to exit. It might be something like an empty condition. If you create a bug for it and attach your zipped project folder we can take a look.
The web preview is a little more forgiving, so you could try that, but if you have an error in the project you may have tings that don't work properly. That might help you track down where the error is.
Yeah I'd been using the html preview for the longest time, but it's slightly off from the normal preview, I just re-downloaded gamesalad and that seemed to fix it, thanks guys!

I am having the same problem but I found that if you press the html5 preview button
it will not close
do you have latest build? Mine doesn't do that (I am windows as well)
