I just launched my 40th app.. it becomes too much and not all of them represent my quality standard anymore so time to kill 2 of my babies.

You'll see a difference, I have. My paid apps are getting more attention without all my free crapps in the way.

It's a hard thing to do this to ones apps. We all know these are our babies in a sense. Best of luck @BigDave hopefully it works out.

Agreed, they are our babies, but when it comes to the baby with the big eye, the hunch back and club foot, you lock them in the attic and feed them through a hatch.
I think that is definitely the way to go @BigDave
Quality before quantity!
It's sad to retire an app. However it's a good problem that you have Dave! Good luck with your new Game!

@BigDave,
You could sell/transfer the apps to someone else, so they could live on under another "flag".
My Blog / App Store / Google Play
deleted 3 more apps
The Sha Man
Sha Cat
Bubbles
the first 2 are the apps i put most time into each around 4 months... hurts
but i am sure is the right direction..may only the strongest survive.
Its not a personal memories account it has to be a performing one.
it of course hurts..

Just wondered. Does everybody rebuild their apps and publish an update every time there is an update to Gamesalad or an updated SDK?
I worry that one day I will find that my apps no longer work with Gamesalad if I don't update them with every release. This is becoming a large overhead with Gamesalad releases coming thick and fast!
Not to mention having to reinstall the viewer everytime etc...
I'm also starting to think less apps and better quality is the way to go...
@strag not every game salad update but for important sdks as chartboost I do
i invested a full month updating all my apps at one point.
The overall time spend is not worth it if I look at how much money the most of them made. Basically working for cents. Another important point to focus on winners.

Also if you think about having a winner app and the player goes and checks others made by you and its crap game, you basically lost a install on a good game.

Wow a full month updating...that beats me!
I suppose updating is just one of those things that has to be done and factored into the equation! But I think you're right, cutting your losses and having a bit of a purge sometimes is totally necessary. It's very hard as you do get attached to these things...

Killed 9 Apps now..

Jeah i think i did 1-2 new games at the same time to be honest
and it was for iOS,google play and amazon for each game. Most of them didn't had interstitial ads from the start.
