How to stop phone sleeping

Hi all i have an app thats live however it needs to be left untouched basically but users say the phone sleeps before they can finish using it. is there a way to stop this ??? its on android at the min so problem on that but awaiting review for apple sounsure if will happen on that?

I don't know about other phones but i expect all phones have this option.
On my uncle's google nexus 5, it's Settings/Display/Sleep and you can choose from 15 seconds/30 sec/1 min/2 min/5 min/10 min/30 minutes.
