Need App Ideas for Trey Songz - partnership oppurtunity

Got a deal to make an official app for Trey Songz.

Looking for ideas in general.

If you have the ability/resources to deliver it, let me know.

A partnership would be a percentage of our take witch is 33%.

If just have ideas, that is great too.

    Deliver= create the app and/or graphics
    We get 33% of revenue generated by app.
    Distributor gets 33%, artists get 33%

    If u supplied art and app the. You would get 17%.

    Probably can do more out of the first 10k made

    Money made via ads and in apps

    I'm afraid 17% of non-guaranteed profits is not going to tempt many people to create a whole app, especially including artwork, for you. It would seem the person doing the lion's share of the work ends up with the smallest percentage, potentially a percentage of nothing.

    Trey Songz is a musician with 8.53 million followers on Facebook.

    He is contractually obligated to promote the app via social media.

    If you are not confident enough in the success and profitability of the app to contract a developer to make it for an agreed fee or just make it yourselves (which if the app is popular will mean a much higher profit for you), then why should a developer be confident enough to risk their time and give up other guaranteed earnings?

    Genuine question, not trying to be difficult.

    Additionally, would the game developed be exclusively used for this artist, or would the intention be to reskin it and offer it in other forms too? If so, would the developer be receiving a cut of those releases too?

    Final question - what guarantee is there the app will get released? What if the app is developed - 100% to required specifications - but the label ultimately decides not to release it (for reasons unrelated to the app itself, perhaps)? Would the developer then receive nothing?

    If you build just the app, you get 33% but if you also include the artwork, you only get 17%.

    But you're only getting 50% of the total app revenue so in reality that 33% is 16.5% of the total and that 17% is 8.5% of the total. So if someone builds the app for you, they get 8.5% of the revenue.

    Am I reading that right?

    I would think this would be a simple re-skin, that is what we are doing with the other artists.

    We currently have a backlog of about 60 musicians and 2 boxers.
