GS 0.8.9: my project doesn't work anymore

Hello,

I downloaded GS 0.8.9 recently and tried to download some shared projects. They do work.
But then I wanted to load my game project, and when I click on my main scene (or any other scene), my mouse cursor turns into the MacOS X beach ball. I have to quit GS with command+alt+esc then.
What's the problem? Until now my game worked with every version of GS. :-/

Thanks for help.

More info: even most of the templates don't work anymore (same behaviour as posted above).
I downloaded 0.8.9 one more time and tried to delete the gendai.plist, but that didn't help.
Any ideas? I'm on a MacBook with MacOS 10.5.8.

where is this gendai.plist and why are you deleting it? I'm stumped at what might be wrong.

The gendai.plist is at users->myname->Library->Preferences. It's called com.gendaigames.GameSalad.plist. There is another one called com.gendaigames.GameSaladWebPlugin.plist.

I didn't exactly delete it, but I throwed it out of the Preferences folder temporarily. Sometimes when an app has problems after an update, this helps. It then creates a new .plist file.

I guess I started with GS 0.8.4, until now everything went fine with every update.

When it comes to the templates: I can start the Cave Adventure with GS 0.8.9 and click on the scenes to edit them. I can NOT do that with Cannon Physics or my own templates, because if I click a scene, GameSalad doesn't react anymore (beach ball). I have to "force quit" GS.

If I start and older version of GameSalad (for example 0.8.6), everything works fine again.

    Strange. :-/
