Starting to learn Network Behaviours

Whats the easiest cheapest way to make a couple of test with the network behaviours "send and get".
I just want to get my hands on and see how it looks server side etc. Anyone can offer their server so I can test or suggest a cheap provider. As I am not yet sure for what I gonna use it.

Actually osx has it's own built in server, it is unix after all. You can activate apache the most common internet server. http://getgrav.org/blog/mac-os-x-apache-setup-multiple-php-versions
