Is this supposed to be happening with tables?

I have actors that update tables with their positions a lot and I've now have multiple occasions where, after previewing my game, I go to look at the table they've been updating and find new rows and cells have numbers in them. That's supposed to happen while playing, but the tables all are supposed to start blank. It seems to happen sporadically, but I'm pretty sure it's more likely to happen after my viewer crashes. Is that supposed to be happening? Is it just a thing I need to check out every time my viewer crashes?

Did you send the bug splat when the crash happened? I would submit a bug report.

No, this should not happen. When you quit the preview the values should change to the original values. like @The_Gamesalad_Guru said, submit a bug.

It's a crash in my viewer and adhoc at the same rough moment, and that thread from before showed the memory build up wasn't due to tables, so I'm guessing it's something in my code. So I didn't get a bug splat notification. I was thinking it was possible it was something that was supposed to be in there like "Hey, when it crashed, this is what was happening in your tables".

I'll go submit a bug and try to see how I can make it happen again.

Are you inadvertently running the logic that fills the tables if certain attributes aren't properly saved?

I don't quite understand what you're asking. I only have one table that gets saved and one high score attribute that gets saved, most of the other tables start as blank tables. Either way, how would that go and fill in table cells in the creator versus in the game?

If it was in the game I could see that something weird was probably happening in my rules, but it's happening in creator, where everything originally started blank. My tables start blank, I preview it (in the game the tables have rows added etc), then I go back into creator and see that my tables now have some extra rows with some of them having some numbers stored in them.

I can't quite find the pattern yet on when this is happening though. Either way, in creator, they should start the way I originally prototyped them.

It's sounding like a bug, I just didn't want to rush to judgement so I made the thread.

Make a video of how it happens, if you can reproduce it and send it to forum ninja. He'll pass it on.
