"Please download the latest version" error

in Working with GS (Mac)

I downloaded the latest Release Candidate version of GS creator 0.13.18 for mac and I'm getting the error "Please download latest version" when I try to log-in. Isn't 0.13.18 the latest RC version??? Anyone know why I'm getting this error?

    13.18 is pretty old and may not support the new login flow. Is there a reason you need that particular version? As far as I know the 13.33 release includes everything 13.18 had and more.

    I had a project that was built using 13.18 so I was trying to open it again with the latest RC. However i found a way to rename the file extension to *.gameproj and it opens in 13.33. thanks
