@ookami007 I'll agree that debating case law with you on the forums is certainly unproductive. I've stated our case clearly and have enjoyed reading your opinions. Thanks for sharing. :)

Hmmmm although I don't have a dog in this fight. If I took that same logic and applied it to myself. I would take down all my tutorials as my competition benefits by me teaching them how to make games and directly or indirectly compete against mine......I must be an idiot. I'm one guy who everyone knows takes no money at all from this community.

And no one can argue I do this to be popular..lmao I speak my mind around here for sure. If I wanted to be popular I'd kiss a$$ and make a ton of money.

@CodeWizard I've shared the emails we've exchanged with our 3 other team members and we all found your proposal nothing short of bullying.

We decided to close because we felt the legal action with the logo was only the start.

We will move on, onwards and upwards and I look forward to meeting Armelline one day :)

    Awful politics...

Darren and Wayne have provided some amazingly useful tools over the years, and have consistently pushed what GS is capable of doing... Many of their tools have bandaged over gaping holes in the creator and at times have helped keep GS as a usable product. along with SpriteAttacks tutorials they have provided a lot of help to the GS community.

Yes, there's been controversies over the years with some of the templates, but overall I think there's some pretty nasty politics going on here... :(

I'm not sure if GS might be shooting itself in the foot a bit here, as I'm guessing DeepBlueApps and DeepBlueMarket might have had the larger traffic when it came to templates and stuff... I'd say their sites were definately the most professional and easiest to navigate from a user point of view... And thus provided a better "shop window"

Some of the things happening around here lately are very disappointing. For the first time in my years around here I have some thinking to do.

I am extremely disappointed with this news. I feel deflated with recent events and need to collate what's happening here. Some serious changes happened in recent weeks and not all for the best. I feel for the parties involved and I am gutted the way they appear to have been treated.
