We've recently sent in our game for review for the iOS App Store. While we wait, we thought this would be a good time to get started for Android...the only problem is, we have no idea where to begin!
We've built our entire game using a Mac Mini and tested using TestFlight on Apple devices iPhone 5/5s/5c, iPhone 6 and iPad Mini/Air. We've also created our game using a universal build.
Any advice/steps on how to get started for Android?
Are there adjustments that should be made to our current project, when considering Android?
Also, we don't have any Android devices for testing...Is there another way to go about this?
Thanks in advance, I'm sure we'll have many more questions

this is a good place to start:

for testing, but the $99 kindle fire 6". It's running a recent version of android, and they will be releasing a new OS this fall based on an even newer one. You can also buy the $189 moto G google phone.
I have the Moto G, Fire Phone and Fire Tablet to test my android games on.

@jonmulcahy Thanks for the quick reply! I'll run through the link you recommended.
Dang, I was hoping not to purchase extra devices just for testing purposes...Is there an online Android emulator that could help with testing?
I'm not familiar with Android at all but from what I've heard they have hundreds of screen resolutions... Is there a universal build that will work for all Android devices?
i just focus on 720p with letterbox. even with all the different resolutions most of the current devices are all widescreen.

@jonmulcahy Thanks, I'll keep this in mind!
Do you know of any video tutorials on getting started with Android? I'm having a very hard time following the written instructions in the GS Support...
