Image not rendering properly in iphone

Why I am getting circles in the image , its small part of the background , I didn’t put the full background because I don’t want expose the game concept.

    I'm no artist, but it looks like the background has a gradient.

    I assume you've made it yourself. Can't you remove it?

    It's because you haven't saved the image in a good enough file type.

    use PNG-24 and you should be fine.

    There is currently an issue with gradients in GameSalad. It's actually a problem with openGL on the iPhone where banding occurs in gradients. Apparently there are a few fixes available, but Gendai would have to implement them.

    Until they do, if you want a quick fix, add a layer of noise above the gradient in Photoshop. Set it to 5% opacity so it is barely noticeable. That will fix the banding.
