@Thunder_Child -- I have watched the entire 1hour and 33 minute tutorial and it is great!
Its fantastic to see everything done in context and explained in great detail. I really appreciate the fact that you started from the very beginning and explained everything as if the viewer was starting from ground zero.
Thanks folks. It's great to hear people would spend the time to watch a tutorial that can last as long as a whole movie. It's funny I know there were at least two errors in the tutorial. @RThurman thanks for the feed back. I think this finally finishes my series of tutorials pertaining to publishing...now it's on to making two or three games in 10 days INCLUDING the publishing process to create the "Ten Day Challenge" and hopefully submit them to the Academy.
Even with all my own rants and raves...I believe GameSalad is a great tool and new users should feel confident they can do it to. Get them to be pro users and make GameSalad better...stronger....faster...yes...
Very detailed tutorial, thank you for the hard work to help others.
I got 2 questions, so I'll just ask them here (and help bump it ):
At 04:00, when you opened up your Member Center it shows many topics. But mine shows only SDKs and Bug Reporting topics. Does it mean I have to go through the enrollment and purchase Apple Developer first, then mine will appear exactly like yours?
At 46:00, where you talk about having to do Agreement/Tax/Banking process before being able to sell apps. What if I ignore that process, and for example I've put Admob in my games. Will I still be able to profit from Admob?

Answer to Question 1. Yes I believe so...this area I open is after a login to a paid developers account...my video assumes you have one.
Answer to Question 2. You WILL have to fill out this tax and banking area to be able to 1. Have your app available in the App Store, even if it has passed review from Apple. 2. Be able to receive your money due from Apple after any sales/ad revenues.
Admob revenue is paid to you through your Admob account, not Apple. Only iAds are paid by Apple.
@Thunder_Child Have an awesome from me. If there was a category on the right called "Absolute essentials for newbies (and some oldies)", this would be at the top!

Thank you. I'm so glad people have found this series an essential. My next will be for Mac Publishing...all very similar to iOS but different in a few ways.
Between the changes Apple makes to the UI of iTunes Connect and the Publishing Portal, the changes to Xcode and the new changes to GS Publisher I get lost and have to start over each time I'm ready to publish or update an app. (I don't publish that often.)
Huh, I just realised that I procrastinate as I approach the publishing stage because I hate spending so much time figuring out the process again. This is going to be huge motivator and time saver for me.
Can't wait for Mac Publishing. That will be fannntasstic, because I hate playing games on a little device. I'd like to build a Mac game for the Retina displays!

I appreciate that...I will...as needed update this when Apple makes major changes...even if things look so different a user could become lost. Hopefully iOS9 doesn't do this as...you can tell...it's quite a process. It can take as long from start to finish as it can take to watch a full length movie and that's even you you know what your doing. Lol. A Mac Guide is...."coming soon"
Just a bump to highlight this Post...and to announce I currently am uploading to YouTube my "Complete Guide to Mac Publishing...not quite as long...on 58 minutes this time. :-)

Don't say I never gave you nothing.
This is really something that many struggle with as it's a confusing process, so the tutorial is very welcome and useful.

Maybe we could have an Academy of GS Video Awards annually?
Swank hotel, top artists (graphic) performing, a salad banquet with open bar and a celebrity host ( @Braydon_SFX or @tshirtbooth )!
@PhilipCC - If I were to do that, I'd need to dust off my bowtie.
