Android crashes in startscene on some devices (S4, S5, Note)

Hello everybody,

I have the following problem.
I have made a CityGuide for our city.
On iOS everything works perfectly.
However, I have difficulty with Android.
Some phones will start the app, and then hangs up.

In the startscene is just one actor, the background.
When you press it, it changes only the scene.
But here stops the app ...
I can isolate the problem to models of type Samsung.
S4, S5 and Note.

Maybe one of you had probably know the issue.

I work with the GS version 13:30.
On my Samsung Galaxy S3, the app works perfect.

@dapion - did you find any solution / info for this problem?

I'm also getting reports of crashes on startup with certain android devices - and picking up bad reviews as a result too!

yes...i found some threads here who solved my problem rudimentary.
The issue was the custom (splash) screen in the publishing area.
I have changed the image to the smallest, 320 X 480 and it works.
S4, S5 and Galaxy Note are now still running.
Furthermore, I have a few problems with Huawai devices.

@dapion Thank you! - yes my reported crashes are on Galaxy S5 & HTC One.
I've changed the splash screen size to 320x480, so hopefully this will fix the issue!

If this is a know bug this really should be flagged up (perhaps on the publishing portal). I've now got a number of bad reviews on Google Play which could easily have been prevented if I'd been made aware of the issue.

There working on these android bugs. They are a bit tricky to sort out.
