It's a pity we didn't work out how to make any money. Out of 30k downloads, we have sold 1 IAP Still, sooner people played it than it doing nothing on the AppStore.

Dang, I am sorry to hear that. You guys deserve to be rich, I had so much fun playing this game.

My feeling is the problem is one of marketing and building an audience, but that's a long-term problem and very difficult to solve quickly. The thing about those 30k downloads is all of them know who you are now and have strong positive feelings for your games, so you would expect "the next one" to do better, the one after that even better, etc.

Fantastic game! Really enjoyed playing it. It has nice graphics, music and a cool style. It looks like it took a lot of time and effort to make such a quality game. Well done!
The only thing that I didn't like is that it keeps crashing when played for a long period of time even though no other apps were running on my iDevice and it is slow to load but over all it is a fantastic game.

Yeah, that's why we need Facebook integration like... yesterday! Seems like it's on the horizon but stalled out to make improvements to the engine and so forth. Hard to complain about that. But if you are publishing games regularly every option to connect to users and for them to help spread the word is HUGE.
@Toonshack. -There was 2 of us part time. Took 2 years. @Lovejoy. -Yes, sorry about that. I have no idea how to optimize GameSalad code or how to speed up the slow load times @Lycan - Thank man and good luck with your projects.

With the latest release (0.13.35) GameSalad can now detect region, language, OS name, OS version, and device model of the device running your app, so you could check for lower powered devices and reduce a few things to accommodate them (for example reduce some of the animations or drop 1 level of the parallaxing - and so on)

@dimsdale: actually, for a game as massive as Get Fiquette, it may be worth republishing under 13.35 to see if you get a performance boost. We fixed some pretty major memory leaks that were happening on scene changes.

@dgackey the game is a bit of a mess at the moment. I don't know how many times I've started working on a new version and then Life gets in the way again and I never finish it. I've had the Android version sitting around here for a year now not doing anything either. I need to get me crap together and finish it (Also keep getting side tracked on playing around with new projects)

Because the two parallaxing B/Gs are blurred / soft focused, you could get away with halving their resolution for lower powered devices.

I belive @dgackey is saying to republish the same project file that you have in the store now. Since it would be published under the new GS version which performs better than the version you published it with long ago.

Yeah, you should be able to see your past versions in your portfolio, so if you know which version was your final, you should just be able to download that gameproj from the portfolio, load it in the latest, and republish.
